The Friends of Seva Mandir was set up in 1989 as a registered charity under the patronage of the late Countess Mountbatten. It is committed to helping the poorest communities in Rajasthan to make sustainable, long-term improvements in their lives. It does so by supporting the work of Seva Mandir.
The Friends is managed by Officers who act as Trustees. From April 2012, a new team of Trustees has taken over the leadership of the UK Friends.
The new team continues to welcome any support for the work of Seva Mandir, whether financial, in kind, or through promotion and publicity.
Its work is entirely voluntary and unpaid. It is committed to sending directly to Seva Mandir 100% of funds raised to ensure the greatest possible benefit to the people concerned.
